Positive: The restaurant was fabulous. Excellent menu, great food well prepared. Good wine list and great bar. Bar menu was also quite good and you cou eat outside with a view of the river or in the very elegant and comfortable lounge. The location had a very large garden with its own waterfall overlooking the Columbia River Gorge.
Negative: You had to ask the front desk staff to run the elevator (over 100 years old).
Summary: Wonderful hotel with fabulous views of the Columbia River and a great restuarant and bar.

Positive: Excellent room service, comfortable bed, friendly staff, and beautiful area. We stayed for Memorial Day weekend and enjoyed a wonderful time relaxing at the spa and around the hotel grounds. Unfortunately, our car had broken down about 15 minutes from the hotel, and we had to get it towed to their parking lot. The staff were very accommodating about this and let us keep the car there an extra night while we worked out how to get it to the mechanic since everything was closed for the holiday. Beautiful views.
Negative: Not much to dislike! Since our car had broken down, we were unable to go anywhere, which did hamper the experience slightly. There's not much to do at the hotel itself besides eat, and there's nothing walkable from the location. Additionally, a wedding was occurring at the hotel while we were there, which felt a little awkward since the property is fairly small.

Positive: We enjoyed the stay and the property is beautiful. There were big events while there so we felt it was hard to enjoy the property overall because we didn’t want to intrude, hopefully our next stay we make it on a weekend where there aren’t back to back events!
Negative: I didn’t particularly like having to need someone to take us up the elevator because there wasn’t always someone at the front desk.
Summary: You have a lovely property and we enjoyed our stay.

Positive: The food was the best part of our stay.
Negative: No elevator access ( without assistance) for elderly patrons is a no go. The bed was not comfortable either.
